Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked: The first good 3DS game?

Yes and no. It’s true that all of the 3DS games that have come out so far are meh at best, but on June 28th, 2 great 3DS games come out. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked and Cave Story 3d. There’s only one problem. They are both remakes. However, both are great games, and both are worth getting in 3D.

Everyone knows CaveStory as it is a masterpiece. But Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor from Atlus is a bit less known, but also pretty awesome. And this remake adds a lot of new endings, so it will be worth picking up.

With updated Graphics, sound, and voice acting, Devil Survivor is a must buy 3DS game. If you own the original, it’s not a must, but otherwise it is.

In other news Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 has been announced for the DS. Atlus is still making new games too…

Top 10 3DS games I am looking foward too

10- Resident Evil Revelations.
I’m not a huge Resident Evil fan, but the games are good. Plus, being in 3D could make the game a lot scarier. It could be very fun, and most likely will be, as their have been no bad RE games yet.

9.Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

I love Street fighter. It’s fun, fast paced, and a great fighter. And now it’s going portable, in 3d. Sure its a remake, but it looks good.

8-Dead or Alive 3D
Dead or Alive is a fighting game that hasn’t been to big in recent years, but it seems it is making a comeback. While the older games weren’t amazing, they were good, and It piques my curiosity.

7- Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy
The AC games on the DS weren’t that good, because the DS wasn’t that powerful. But the 3DS is much more powerfull, so this should be a good game.

6.Animal Crossing
It’s animal crossing. Fun, but done 3 times already. Hopefully it brings something new, but it will still be fun.

5- Shin Megami Tensei

What SMG game is it? I don’t know? No one does. But SMT is always fun, so I want it.

4-Contra franchise
I love Contra. It’s hard, but fun. And now it’s in 3D.

3- Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D “The Naked Sample”
Now I can’t wait for this game at all. A Metal Gear game on Nintendo for the first time in a long while. Plus, the MGS series is great, and always fun.

2-Mario Kart
Mario Kart is fun. And every system needs it, and the 3DS is no exception.

1.Kid Icarus: Uprising
A retro game series being revived, and on a brand new system. And the trailer looks awesome, and I want this game more than any other at this time.

SMT Strange Journey for the NDS is a great game. It really is. You play as a soldier who goes into a mysterious, growing, black void appears at the Earth’s southern pole. You and your teams mission is to find out what is causing it and to stop it. Unfortunately, you get stranded their. Oh, and their are Demons who want to kill you.

Luckily, you have a Demonica suit. This allows you to talk and negotiate with the demons, or make you powerful enough to kill them. What’s great in this game in you can fight or talk to demons. And their are over 300 demons, all with different personalities and text. The amount of conversation in this game is staggering. Of course their is demon fusion as well, to make stronger demons. Talking to demons will either make them mad, not care, or give you stuff, or even become your demon so you can become powerful.

The plot is to Figure whats going on, and is a dungeon crawler. Their is plenty of customization, with over 300 demons, many many items, and many upgrades. It’s insane how much their is. It’s great. You slowly learn whats going on, and can either save humanity, or doom it. As it is an SMT game, the choice is yours. Are you the Hero or the Villain?

In all, it’s a great game. But Atlus made it, so that’s obvious.

Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Episode 1: The Penal Zone is also a good game, but this a point and click game. The main problem is it’s really not a point and click, you use the arrow keys, which is kind of awkward.

But the game is fun. With the Duo of a talking Dog and rabbit, you must solve crimes. An evil gorilla alien comes and wants to take over. Luckily, Max gets Psychic powers which help in the puzzles.

The game is almost as ridiculous as the old ones, and just as funny. It’s a great game, and I can’t wait until episode 2 coming this May.

Persona 5 announced

This is great news. I Just want to know what system it’s on, but I’m guessing the Ps3.

The persona Series is known for many choices, which determines your fate. It also has a huge social aspect, so you must talk to people.

You must also do some awesome Dungeon crawling, with fun combat.

And an epic story. Persona 4 was one of the best games I’ve ever played. It’s murder mystery was interesting and fast paced, and all around great.

This game will be great, like every other SMT game.

Also, I want SMT Strange Journey.

Big DS games this spring

so what does the DS have in store this spring?

Games.

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver Version- Who doesn’t like Pokemon. No one. So this game is a must by for everyone. Yes, Even you.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey- Ah, an SMT game. I love these games, and this one looks like it will keep my opinion of the series high. These games are known for there many plot twists, involving everything.

Dementium II- Their are very few horror games on the DS, and fewer good ones. But Dementium II looks like it will remedy this problem. It fixes what the first did wrong, and keeps what works. That’s how it should be done.

And that’s it.

Ya, pretty weak, even the Wii has a better line up.

Hopefully i missed a few, but i don’t think so.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Preview

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey looks like one of the best DS games of the year.

In most SMT games, you play as an unnamed Character(he has no default name) who lives in Tokyo. Soon, Demons invade and you must make many moral choices and do a lot of dungeon crawling.

This time it’s way different.

Demons invade Antarctica. Ok, its not that different, but it’s the first time SMT has not been set in Tokyo.

Also this time, there are over 300 demons to fight and collect! That’s right, in SMT. you don’t always have to fight them. Some will want to join your team and fight for you! And depending on what demons you own, other demons may be more prone to join you or kill you. Their very temperamental.

Also, you fuse these demons together to make stronger, bigger, More temperamental demons. And as always, you must save the world and make many hard choices.

Will you save the world, or destroy it? It’s SMT, so it’s up to you.
