Super Mario’s 25th Birthday.

Super Mario Bros has been around 25 years today. And in Japan ,their celebrating with a pack of the first 4 Mario games, an art book, and of course a CD. It will be out in Japan in October, and hopefully in the US shortly after.

And of course, where would Mario be today Without his brother Luigi. Not as popular or as best selling, that’s for sure. Also, Yoshi has played a huge part, but not so much in the earlier games. And of course, everyone’s favorite Villain, Bowser.

After 25 years, Mario is still going strong, and shows no signs of stopping. There will always be another castle, and another princess to rescue. Even in another 25 years.

Super Mario All-Stars Wii heading to Japan, hopefully America

Super Mario All-Stars is by far one of the greatest collections of games ever. It is a collection of Super mario Bros 1-3, containing both the American and Japanese version of Mario 2.

However, it comes with more than just games.It also comes with a history of Mario book. It covers the entire history of mario, from the beginning till now. But that’s not all folks. It comes with a CD, packed loaded with all your favorite mario tunes from Super Mario Bros all the way too SMG2.

This had better come to America, as it is a must for any mario fan or collector. Sure, you probably Own all the games on the disc at least twice already, but It’s always worth buying again. Let’s hope in comes to America!

Top 10 3DS games I am looking foward too

10- Resident Evil Revelations.
I’m not a huge Resident Evil fan, but the games are good. Plus, being in 3D could make the game a lot scarier. It could be very fun, and most likely will be, as their have been no bad RE games yet.

9.Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

I love Street fighter. It’s fun, fast paced, and a great fighter. And now it’s going portable, in 3d. Sure its a remake, but it looks good.

8-Dead or Alive 3D
Dead or Alive is a fighting game that hasn’t been to big in recent years, but it seems it is making a comeback. While the older games weren’t amazing, they were good, and It piques my curiosity.

7- Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy
The AC games on the DS weren’t that good, because the DS wasn’t that powerful. But the 3DS is much more powerfull, so this should be a good game.

6.Animal Crossing
It’s animal crossing. Fun, but done 3 times already. Hopefully it brings something new, but it will still be fun.

5- Shin Megami Tensei

What SMG game is it? I don’t know? No one does. But SMT is always fun, so I want it.

4-Contra franchise
I love Contra. It’s hard, but fun. And now it’s in 3D.

3- Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D “The Naked Sample”
Now I can’t wait for this game at all. A Metal Gear game on Nintendo for the first time in a long while. Plus, the MGS series is great, and always fun.

2-Mario Kart
Mario Kart is fun. And every system needs it, and the 3DS is no exception.

1.Kid Icarus: Uprising
A retro game series being revived, and on a brand new system. And the trailer looks awesome, and I want this game more than any other at this time.

So that’s the list. The 3DS looks like a great system.

New 3ds rumors, from good sources

Yes, their is much new info about the 3DS, and from a good source. Game developers. While just a mock up, this is what the 3DS is expected to look like.

Yes, the top screen looks much bigger than the bottom screen, which may or may not be bad. The bottom screen is still a touch screen, so that’s good. Also, I think the top screen is too big. It may not be bad, but we’ll see.

Also, it will have an analog stick, as seen in the picture. Its a lot smaller than ones on consoles, but it works. And having that and a D-pad is really good. It lets more ideas be able to be made, and lets games use one, the other, or both. And a touch screen. and 6 buttons that can be used.

I’m liking the 3ds more and more.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 review

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great, great game. It takes what makes the first one awesome, and makes it even better. This is almost impossible, seeing as Galaxy 1 was such a great game.

This time, their is no overarching story. Peach is kidnapped, you must save her. Easy. And this time your hub is a giant planet, much easier to maneuver on. But what really makes this game great is the levels.

The levels are ALL creative, detailed, and long. Most stages have a boss, which makes the game harder, as these bosses are not easy. Some are, but others will take you multiple tries. The enemies in this game are abundant, and all of your favorite enemies are back, Goomba’s, Thwomps, Bullet bills, everyone. Every level gets harder and cooler as the game advances. Ice levels, lava, desert, it has them all.

The challenge has been ramped up in this one, and to collect every star you need real skill. Their are many secret stars to find, and make the game even more challenging. Plus, Yoshi makes the game so much funner. Yoshi is just as awesome as always, and so fun to use. Also, the power ups are fun too. Fire-flowers return, as well as new additions cloud and rock suit. These new power ups are great, and really fun to use. Their creative and new.

The Controls are fine as well, and the ONLY MINOR complaint I have is some camera angles are sometimes bad. But that’s just nitpicking.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 out

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Has come out today. And trust me, it is worth getting. While I have only played the first few levels, I can tell you this is a great game. Some people were worried this was just a sequel, more of the same as the first one.

It isn’t. The mechanics are the same, but everything else is different. The level designs are great, unique, and better than the first. It’s bigger, longer, and funner. And Yoshi. It takes the first game and just makes it even better. It is easily one of the best Wii games, even one of the best current Gen games.

A full review will come later, but this game is great. The challenge is higher than the first game, and doesn’t give you a whole lot of time to adjust. So go get the game now.

Green Video Game Characters

Yes, some video game Characters are green. But their not Irish. In fact, the most prominent Green video game character is Italian. So Let’s pretend it’s some Italian holiday, as everyone knows Luigi is awesome.

Luigi is just like his brother, only greener. And he can jump a lot higher. He’s also portrayed as somewhat of a coward. But that’s what makes him great. He has a personality, unlike his brother. Not a great one, but it’s their. Mario juts jumps around and stomps goombas for no reason.

The only cooler green guy is Yoshi. Yup, This Mascot is awesome. It’s Yoshi.

Okay i lied.

bulbasaur Is bluish green, but he’s the coolest. I mean he is the best Pokemon ever. He is the ultimate Green video game character.

Okay, I really really hate this quote. Why? Because I went though a castle, and all i get is a toad? I mean, who wants to rescue a toad.?

Also, The Castles in Mario are Hard. I jumped over Lava pits, evaded thwopms, and all I rescue is a toad? After losing so many lives? I just wasted my time.

Also, have you noticed that the Final castle is always the biggest? And Peach is always in that one? Why don’t you just start there? But nope, you must go through these grueling castles just to be met by a toad. And he just tells you the obvious, unless Peach has been turned into a toad.

Toad really is a worthless character. Telling the obvious, forgetting his Bazooka, these are just some of his idiocies.

Spring Video Games

What good Video games are coming out this spring? As everyone knows Spring is the second best time for video games to come out, I’ll tell you, free of charge. Mostly free, that is.

Wii

Mega-Man 10- This one is already out, and its MegaMan. Nuff said.

Sam & Max: Season Two — Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space- Yes, a Port. But still a Port of a good game. A magnificent Point and click detective game, a game worth buying.

Cave Story-An updated version of the freeware game, but it’s already free. There just selling it to make money to make more games. It will still be free on the PC though

Red Steel 2- This game could be good or bad, we’ll see

Monster Hunter Tri- Now this will be a good game. Great maybe. A Free to play MMO for the wii, and no friend codes.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands- Well, it could be good

Super Mario Galaxy 2- Like super mario galaxy, only with Yoshi. A must buy.
